More about my background and my career
My career started at KPMG Audit & Accounting in Amstelveen, where I spent 6 great years. After finishing the post-master CPA (Register Accountant) I started at Novamedia as controller. Novamedia is known for the Nationale Postcode-, BankGiro- and VriendenLoterij where I had several roles. During my time at Novamedia, I grew from controller to Head of Finance, to CFO within a span of ten years.
Next to my passion for numbers and finance, I’ve always had a passion for people and culture. I’ve always strived to make a positive impact on the work culture in the organizations I’ve worked at.
Novamedia
During my time at Novamedia I was responsible for finance, Risk Management, HR, and ESG/sustainability. I’ve always been driven to develop my skillset and to stay curious, which is the mindset I’ve continued to pursue throughout my career. Not just my curiosity and drive factors in my growth, but creating a positive impact for others around me has also driven me into becoming CFO.
MediaMonks
In 2020 I became CFO at MediaMonks, an international marketing and advertising agency listed in the UK, where I was globally responsible for finance, the integration of acquisitions, HR, and the legal departments. I also supervised the development and implementation of the international ESG strategy for S4Capital. During my time at MediaMOnks we grew from 1.500 colleagues to 5.000 colleagues in 1,5 years through organic growth and acquisitions.
Liobé
At the end of 2021 I started Liobé. As an expert in the field of a.o. finance and HR I wanted to create more impact for start- and scale ups. Since the start of Liobé, I’ve been involved in different roles and I’ve been able to advise organizations whilst seeing them grow their potential (a.o. Equalture, Eddy Grid, Downtown Music and Regio Gooi & Vechtstreek). In 2022 I also joined FEM-START, an organization that focuses on female entrepreneurs and supports them in their education on growth financing.

Next to my work as a CFO, I’ve always wanted to use my knowledge and skills in another way. In 2019 I found this by combining my passion for numbers, people, and culture in board positions on multiple Supervisory Boards mentioned below. Since December 2022 I am also part of the Continuity Foundation of Novamedia.
Dutch Film Fund
Since 2019 I’m an active member of the Supervisory Board and chairwoman of the Audit Committee of the Dutch Film Fund.
TivoliVredenburg
In 2022 I became an active member of the Supervisory Board and chairwoman of the Audit Committee at the cultural institution TivoliVredenburg.
Amsterdam UMC Foundation
Since May 2023 I became a member of the Supervisory Board of the fundraising institution of the Amsterdam UMC. The fundraising institution is a result of the merger of the VU Foundation and the AMC Foundation per the 1st of January 2023.
Natuurcollege Foundation
Starting June 2023 I’ve become a member (treasurer) of the Board of the Natuurcollege Foundation. This foundation was founded in 2001 by Princess Irene, focusing on enhancing and improving the relationship between human and nature.
